This guide applies to official shard rules.On the basis of their compliance, we may refuse to review any contentious situations (for example, investigate the stolen accounts).

More than 80% of thefts occur on your own fault. we will describe below, how to avoid it. This compliance, of course, does not guarantee complete safety, but may complicate the life of a thief, and to facilitate the administration and himself (in the event of any proceedings).

Of course, there are some people who won't follow our rules after reading this guide. OK, it's your "life". We can't ban you for it, but, as we already sad above, we may refuse to review your complains about stolen accounts. Only if we together thinking about security, you can avoid most of theft!


So, our recommendations:

1) You shouldn’t use free mailbox service while registering. It better to use the e-mail address that your provider gave you, or your work mailbox (if it’s also registered not in a free mailbox). We think that it is not necessary to explain why. Such e-mail can be deleted without any reason and nobody will notify you, or if you didn't use it for a long time. After that, somebody could have registered a new one (with the same name) and then will be able to steal your account. Also a free e-mail address is an easy target to hack.

If you can’t follow our recommendations, please use some functions in your mailbox that can let your mailbox depend to your IP address. REMEMBER! - There also was many dynamic IP! In that case you can't use this kind of mailbox options.

2) Do not use the simple passwords! Like "1234 ", "qwerty", "admin" and so on. Never use your name as your password! Hope we don’t need to explain why.

3) Don't use the one password for ICQ, MSN, Ultima Online (login). If somebody steals your account, he will get everything!

4) Follow the simple security rules! Don’t forget to download fresh Anti-virus updates. use firewall as well.

5) If you played from the internet cafe, from your work place, from your institute or other insecure places, then after you return home, change your password. In those places, you should avoid leaving your character online after going out from the internet cafe.

6) Be careful! Do not give your password to anyone (especially from your registration e-mail). If you want to sell your character let GM's or server administrators help you. Only they can help and protect you from any kind of cheat. If you start to do it by yourself and somebody cheated you, we won't be able to help you!

7) If somebody gave you an account, which doesn't belong to you or your friends, we highly recommend you not to use it. It can be stolen and you will have a risk to be framed up.

8) It doesn't matter how difficult your password is; you'll better change it from time to time. Of course, you shouldn't change it to simple one.

9) If you have any suspicion that somebody trying to steal your, your friends or anybody else's things or account, you can ask the GM or Administrators for help. In that case GM's or Administrators will forcibly change the account password or stone you character. Account owner can receive the new password anytime, the thief can't! If that happens, you should mail to Administrator Sherwood, because only he has a special permission to change your password.

10) If you are using your ISP mailbox and somebody stole it, and the stealer already start using your game account - you should find sys-admins of your provider to return your e-mail. Because only they have a permission to return your e-mail (This should be much easy because you have a contract with your provider and in that case return your mailbox is not a big problem)
